Former Cold Stone Creamery president Sheldon Harris has been appointed as Complete Nutrition’s chief executive with immediate effect.
Harris has worked for Omaha, Nebraska-based Complete Nutrition as a strategy consultant for the past six months and replaces founder and former chief executive Cory Wiedel, who will become chair of the newly created board of directors.
Under Wiedel’s stewardship, Complete Nutrition plans to open 150 new stores over the next three years. The openings would take the firm’s total number of outlets in the US to 310.
"Sheldon is an exceptional leader who brings impressive experience in franchising and working with high-growth companies to Complete Nutrition," said Wiedel.
"After growing at an unprecedented rate for the past three years, our priority has been to assemble a top-notch executive team. Naming Sheldon as CEO of Complete Nutrition fulfills this objective."
"As a health and fitness enthusiast, it's an honor to be in a position where I can help people make dramatic, positive life changes through our consultative approach and superior products," added Harris.
Complete Nutrition has a portfolio of around 200 general health, sports nutrition and weight-loss supplements such as 3Plenish, CTS360 and TONE.
