Greggs chairman to exit firm17 September 2012Greggs has announced that chairman Derek Netherton will step down from the board of the UK bakery next year. Netherton has served the company for over a decade but has decided not to put himself up for re-election at the next general meeting in May. Greggs said that Ian Durant will replace Netherton. Durrant was appointed as a non-executive director in 2011 and is currently chair of the firm’s audit committee. The search for a new non-executive to replace Durrant as chair of the audit committee is underway. | |
