Shamrock Farms launches new dairy sports nutrition beverage24 May 2012Phoenix-based dairy Shamrock Farms has extended its range of sports nutrition products after the firm announced plans to introduce a new low carb milk-based protein beverage to GNC outlets. Rockin' Refuel Muscle Builder is said to promote muscle development through the inclusion of natural milk-based proteins and an optimal 2:1 carb-to-protein ratio. Shamrock Farms said that the product contains thirty grams of protein, six grams of sugar, and four grams of fat per serving. The product will be available in 11oz four-packs and single units exclusively at GNC and GNC.com and will be endorsed by NFL star Peyton Hills, Kansas City Chiefs’ running back. The launch is Shamrock Farm’s latest foray into the sports nutrition market after the firm introduced includes Rockin' Refuel Intense Recovery. The company plans to introduce a new low sugar, low calories Rockin’ Fuel product later this summer. "GNC wanted to provide a more natural protein option that milk brings, so we worked together to develop this new way to get that essential muscle-boost without a lot of carbs or sugar," said Sandy Kelly, Shamrock Farms’ director of marketing. | |
