Tesco to spend millions on bakery overhaul26 July 2012UK grocer Tesco is to overhaul 850 of its in-store bakeries so it can offer a wider range of products. The grocer is to invest millions in the new format which will be called Your Bakery at Tesco and is to extend its range of speciality breads from 10 to 30 products. New continental bread lines include a rosemary and rock salt focaccia, sunflower and honey loaves, hand-baked pretzels and green pesto breadsticks. The new bakery format is part of the supermarket’s wider improvements to its UK business operations. | |
