Cadbury unveils charity Christmas chocolateBritish confectionery giant Cadbury will be launching a charity chocolate product this year. The confectionery item, called Cadbury Wishes, will come out in time for Christmas. It has been created to celebrate the confectioner's partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the manufacturer will be donating ten per cent of the chocolate's profits to the charity. Cadbury Wishes will be sold at 59p per bag and they will be featuring in revamped selection boxes this year. Shaped as a star, the chocolate will go on sale from September. To support the product launch, Cadbury has created a new website featuring fictional toy characters that take visitors into a magical world. Recently, it was reported that Cadbury, which is now owned by US food manufacturer Kraft Foods, was being forced to axe nearly 75 per cent of its employees. The Independent learned that only 45 of the 165 senior managers based at Cadbury's headquarters would be given new roles in Kraft's business. Posted by Lauren Cook ![]() | | ||||||||||||||||||||
