Greenpeace 'attacks' Nestle

Environmental campaign group Greenpeace has launched a viral video as part of its bid to highlight food manufacturer Nestle's use of palm oil.

The group posted a graphic viral video on its own website as well as on YouTube with an officer worker biting into a KitKat only to have it turn into an orangutan's finger.

Text on the video scrolls across the screen, reading: "Have a break? Give the orangutan a break."
YouTube has taken down the mock confectionery video from its site as Nestle claimed it infringed the company's copyright.

Last month, the Swiss-based food giant announced it would work with a not-for-profit organisation to launch a probe into the suppliers of its palm oil.

The company was criticised by Greenpeace after the activist group found out its main palm oil supplier, Sinar Mas, was linked to rainforest destruction in south-east Asia.
