PepsiCo's Tropicana 'aims to raise profile'Soft beverage and food manufacturer PepsiCo will be starting a new national print campaign to raise the profile of the company's Tropicana brand. Tropicana has just launched a new flavour range called Orange Creations. There are 21 flavours of the brand, and it is hoped the new campaign will remind consumers there is more to Tropicana than just orange juice. Photographs for the campaign feature sliced oranges with the flesh of an alternative fruit inside them, which is designed to leave the consumer with a "mouth-watering sensorial experience". The ads will be launched this week in the UK. Since investing in marketing its new flavours last year, Tropicana claims its range of new flavours has grown five times quicker than other not-from concentrate juices. Tropicana is the leading producer and marketer of branded fruit juices. The company was founded in 1947 as a small firm selling fruit gift boxes in Florida in the US.
