CanMar Foods is the largest producer of Food Grade Conventional and Organic Flax in Canada. We have been selling into the European market for many years.
We have three very distinct and important value added processes to deliver the finest Food Grade Flax:
- Our business is fully integrated back to our own 20,000 acre farm, which includes 3,000 acres of organics. We are integrated from “Field to Spoon”.
- We have a World Class State of the Art Flax processing facility that we use to take our product through 12 cleaning steps to achieve 99.99% purity, the highest in the industry.
- We roast our Flax to remove any risk of yeast, mold or pathogens. Our roasting process is unique in that we have a patent on this process. As a result, we are the only Flax company that has been able to sell into the Japanese market for Food Grade Flax, given our quality. We have a highly developed Retail Brand, and also produce Private Label and Commercial Packaging for the Bakery and Institutional markets.
