Affron®, winner of Ingredients of the Year in Cognitive Function at the NutraIngredients USA Awards, is the first saffron extract (Crocus sativus L.) standardized by HPLC to Lepticrosalides®, the bioactive compounds that help with relaxation, mental and physical balance, and help maintain a positive mood.
Lepticrosalides® are also responsible for the organoleptic properties of Saffron. Lepticrosalides are analyzed by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) which is an objective analytical technique to determine these bioactive compounds in affron® Lepticrosalides®.
