Ahiflower® is a vegan suitable source of omega 3. Since Ahiflower® is obtained from a plant, it causes no damage to the oceans or fish stocks, which has become a common concern among consumers. Ahiflower® also contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA) an anti-inflammatory omega 6. The difference with Ahiflower® is that it is rich in omega 3 fatty acid stearidonic acid (SDA). This means that it converts into a form of omega 3 that is useable by the body: EPA. Ahiflower® has been proven to do this 4 x more effectively than omega 3 from flax seed oil.
