Theobroma cacao

Cacao nibs are the least processed of all cacao products, making them the most nutritious product from the Theobroma cacao tree. They are practically the raw form of cacao products. After the beans are carefully fermented, dried and roasted, they are separated from the husks and broken down to small pieces.

Cacao nibs are high in naturally-occurring nutrients such as fiber, magnesium, and potassium. They contain one of the highest levels of antioxidants and flavonoids, which decrease inflammation and reduce free radicals.
