Paprimur s.l offers a wide range of products which includes Cochineal Red HS 50%. It belongs to spice category. This is a sodium salt of natural carmine, obtained from the dried female cochineal insect (Dactilopus coccus Costa), which is dissolved in an alkaline medium and dried by atomization. The colouring constituent is an aluminium chelate of carminic-acid. Soluble in aqueous solutions. Insoluble in alcohol. It may be used in dairy products, baked products and meat products among other food applications. Packaging: Cardboard drums of 10 kg / 25 kg / 50 kg with inner polyethylene bags.
