It is made from fractionated and hydrogenated palm kernel fat that contains high levels of lauric tryglycerides in its composition. It is a non-tempering fat with an excellent sharp and complete melting at body temperature. It can be used to retard the oiling off in the margarine as it acts a crystallising agent and used for the manufacture of fabric softeners. Unique qualities of the product lend themselves to widespread use for moulding and enrobing. The melt profile and flavour released compounds made out of this products are comparable to chocolate.
