MÜNZING extends range of Organic Certified food grade antifoams

With the new MAGRABAR® 4020, MÜNZING extends its portfolio of Organic Certified food grade antifoams and establishes a product suitable for several applications.

MAGRABAR® 4020 is an antifoam formulated using >95% certified organic ingredients.  It is effective across a range of organic food processing applications including for defoaming carbohydrate and protein process streams including soymilk and tofu. Vegetable washing, potato processing and dairy processes such as manufacturing yogurt and cheese are also suitable uses for MAGRABAR® 4020. Furthermore this product is certified Kosher Pareve and Halal.

MÜNZING’s MAGRABAR 4020 has been Certified Organic by QAI under the USDA National Organic Program and has also been reviewed for US/Canada and US/EU equivalency. MAGRABAR® 4020 is specifically designed for suitable use in production of organic food of animal origin, for which EU Commission Regulation (EC) No. 889/2008 lays down specific rules in its Annex VIII.
