Nedmag B.V.
is a leading producer of calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, magnesium oxide
and magnesium hydroxide since 1981. Production is based in Veendam in The
Netherlands, where bischofite salt deposit are found from the former Zechstein
sea, making it a pure source of raw materials for our products.
Nedmag’s Calcium
chloride finds its way to food producers all over the world. Various top brands
rely on the quality of Nedmag CaCl2 food. Thanks to its high quality and
purity, Nedmag's calcium chloride is suitable for use as food additive. It is,
for example, commonly used as an additive in products such as cheese and beer.
Pure Health & Earth is Nedmag’s latest brand introducing Magnesium chloride
food grade crystals to the market. Magnesium chloride offers several similar
properties to traditional table salt (sodium chloride), with excellent
possibilities in lowering the sodium content. It is used as sodium replacement in bakery, dairy and
meat applications as well as a coagulant in tofu production, as electrolyte in
production of sport drinks, and as a flavouring agent. Adding magnesium
chloride to food and drinks will enrich them with magnesium while lowering
sodium content.
Lots of health benefits are attributed to magnesium, as it is an
essential mineral for the human body.
