Ohly® KAT is a yeast extract which is low salt and has a mild savoury character. This free flowing, slightly granular, water soluble powder contains less than 1.0% sodium chloride. Ohly® KAT is manufactured using only natural ingredients in a carefully controlled autolytic process. Applications: Low salt soups and sauces as well as low salt seasoning blends. Cream soups either based on vegetable or poultry are the typical application area. Usage levels range from 0.1 % to 0.3 % up to 15 % in seasoning blends.
