Product description

Ohly® KTD is a yeast extract which is low salt and has a robust, roasted character. This free flowing, fine granular, water soluble powder contains a maximum of 1.0% sodium chloride. Ohly® KTD contributes a brown, roasted flavour to applications requiring reduced sodium with flavour enhancement. It is produced by a carefully controlled autolytic process using only natural ingredients. Applications: Any application where low salt and brown, roasted notes are required. Typical applications include rubs for rotisserie meats, marinades, canned meat products, au jus mixes, glazes for beef, poultry and pork, vegetarian patties and seasonings. Usage levels range from 0.1% to 0.4% on an “as consumed” basis.
