Palm fats are produced from the fruits of the oil palm. They are used mainly in the food industry, and to a lesser degree in cleaning products and cosmetics. Palm fat is extracted from the flesh of the oil palm fruit and is dark yellow to yellow-red in Colour, with a scent of violets and a sweet taste. During the process of refining, palm oil is often fractionated into various components. The liquid oleic acid is used for cooking and deep-frying, and the solid fraction (stearic acid) is used in margarines/fat spreads, confectionary and baked goods. The palm oil-based special fats and fat derivatives supplied by HELM AG are vegetable fats with a wide range of applications. All products are RSPO certified; this ensures that they are obtained from sustainable cultivation. Packaging: 25 kg bags with PE liner. Applications: Palm fats and their derivatives have a wide range of applications, but they are predominantly used as cooking and baking fats in food glazes, chocolate, ice cream and also in cosmetics and cleaning products.
