Company description

ClonBio Group Ltd is a family owned Irish agribusiness that manufactures sustainable bioproducts from grain. The Group is a market leader and large-scale producer of renewable energy and animal nutrition in Europe. ClonBio invests in biotechnology that creates commercially viable bioproducts.

It is from this objective that Pure Fiber Ltd was born.  Pure Fiber commercializes nutritional and functional grain-based ingredients. We are developing a soluble Corn Fiber, from a fiber naturally present in corn. We are working in partnership with the manufacturer Pannonia Bio Zrt, specialised in processing corn kernel near the crop fields of Hungary.

The Soluble Corn Arabinoxylan fiber is gluten-free, well-tolerated, heat stable and has low viscosity. It has been tested in snacks, cereals, bakery, for fiber fortification and calorie reduction, and it can replace up to 50% of the sugar in snacks, like cereals bars. Ideal for beverages, nutritional drinks and sauces.
Corn Bran Arabinoxylan is a “slowly fermented” fiber, and slowly fermented fibers are better tolerated that rapidly fermented fibers.

It also may contribute to glycaemic control and may play a role in treating patients with Type II diabetes, and may lead to a significant decrease in total cholesterol, triglycerides after 6 weeks.
