Rousselot SIMOGEL™, an innovative dosage form for supplements and OTC products

Product description

Rousselot’s SiMoGel™ gelatin solution, allows for a starch-free gummy production process with depositing in silicone and metal molds or directly into blister packs. It is therefore ideal for nutraceutical gummies where a highly hygienic production environment is needed to avoid nutrient cross-contamination through starch between the production batches. The setting time can be less than 15 minutes, depending on the formulation. Gelatin’s superior mouthfeel, transparency can be enjoyed in all gummies made with SiMoGel. SiMoGel also enables sugar-free or sugar-reduced gummy formulations.
The gummy caps is an innovative and exciting delivery format produced using SiMoGel™. Gummy caps combine the benefits of capsules, soft gels, and gummies in a single delivery format. The shell of the gummy caps is soft and tasty, while the center can be filled with a liquid or pasty filling. Gummy caps can be used to deliver a broad range of active ingredients from nutritional solutions to OTC products.
