Sodium acetate is the sodium salt of acetic acid. It is used in the food industry as an acidity regulator and as a preservative. When used as an acidity regulator, sodium acetate reduces the excessively sour taste of foods. It ensures the correct degree of acidity (pH value) in the manufacture of jellied meats, enhances the action of melting salts. Packaging: 25 kg bags with inner PE liner. Applications: Sodium acetate is used as a preservative and acidulant, for example in canned fruit and vegetables, bread, fish products, delicatessen salads, mayonnaise and salad dressings, meat products, jellied meats, cheese spreads, crisps, sauces, condiments and ketchup.
