ULTRA-TEX® 2000 is a premium cold water swelling modified food starch derived from waxy maize. ULTRA-TEX® 2000 is a white to off-white powder that is well suited for instant food preparations where high viscosity, smooth texture and creamy mouthfeel are desired. It is often used as a thickener in dry mixes for sauces, gravies, dairy products, frozen dinners, and instant cream style soups.
