AAK moves Asia management to Singapore

singapore-pagoda-3050126The management of AAK’s operations in Asia will relocate from Scandinavia to Singapore as of September 1, 2015. The company already has an office for its sourcing and trading activities in the country.

“This relocation will allow us to even better pursue our global growth strategy and it will further strengthen our presence in the strategically very important Asian market,” said Torben Friis Lange, President AAK Asia. “With an increased presence in Asia we will be able to better execute AAK’s unique customer co-development proposition in the region.”

AAK is currently constructing a speciality and semi-speciality edible oils factory in Zhangjiagang, China. The start-up of the factory is planned for the first half of 2016.
