The newly developed marinade taps into what EHL sees as demand for modern new herb mixes and this versatile blend is claimed to be perfect for food manufacturers, butchers, chefs and caterers to add to spring lamb that will result in a tasty meal.
The new Easter mint, garlic and rosemary marinade joins EHL’s 22-strong range of herb and spice blends, rubs, marinades, coatings and seasonings, offering a variety of ways to enhance the flavour of lamb, beef, poultry, pork and vegetable dishes.
“Flavoursome, versatile lamb dishes are top of the menu at Easter – both in the home and in foodservice outlets,” said Tasneem Backhouse, Sales and Marketing Director at EHL Ingredients. “As such, our new marinade is the perfect accompaniment to lamb dishes, as Brits are enjoying high quality, traditional British foods. British consumers are always looking for the next big food trend and we are confident that our new marinade will be a popular choice.”
“Our sweet spices, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves and allspice are the ideal addition to seasonal baked goods, breads, loaves, and desserts as are our dried fruit mixes. Our fish seasoning, launched at the end of 2014, has been a popular option in the first few months of this year with Easter set to be a key time of year for this multipurpose blend.”
EHL Ingredients can offer organic blends on request, and says it can match or enhance existing blends and can collaborate with manufacturers on bespoke formulations for new products.
EHL’s new blends are available direct to food manufacturers and butchers and via wholesalers, distributors and cash and carries across the UK. The products are available in various quantities, dependent on requirements.
