- Laccase is refined through an advanced extraction process, ultrafiltration and concentration after deep liquid fermentation of Aspergillus oryzae strain. Laccase is a copper-containing protease, composed of peptide chains, glycochains and Cu. The copper ion is located at the active site of the enzyme and can cooperatively transfer electrons and reduce oxygen to water in oxidation reactions. Laccase can catalyze the oxidation of phenolic and its derivatives, aromatic amines and their derivatives, carboxylicacids and their derivatives, steroid hormones, biological pigments, metal organic compounds and non-phenolic compounds and other substrates. Moreover, the higher the redox potential of laccase, the wider the range of degradable substrates.
