Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) extract is standardized to glycyrrhizin which is used as a natural sweetener and medicinal agent because of its anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective properties. Licorice extracts are applied in cosmetics, food additives, and confectionaries. Grades: Glycyrrhizinic acid 1.5%-60%.
