About
Company description
LIS is the European leader in contract spray drying with
two plants in France (in total 10 spray-dryers, 1 box dryer, 2 fluidized beds,
1 vacuum belt dryer) and one in Poland (6 spray-dryers). We provide
drying services et lab, pilot and industrial scale.
Our clients are in the food ingredients, flavors, nutraceutical & cosmetics
actives and pharmaceutical excipients sectors.
Decarbonization has become a reality at LIS thanks to the
implementation of a biomass boiler that reduces carbon
footprint by 85% giving a competitive advantage to products dried at LIS in
France.
LIS has implemented in 2023 a new drying technology: PolarDry® which
enables LIS to obtain products strongly encapsulated, to dry products sensitive
to oxidation and high temperature, and also to propose a breakthrough
alternative to freeze drying for probiotics.
Last but not least, already equipped with fluidized beds in
the laboratory and on a pilot scale, LIS will soon extend its capacity by
implementing industrial-scale machines to perform powder functionalization
services such as granulation or coating.
