Lucid Colloids is a
premier Indian manufacturer since 1958 of Edicol brand Food
Grade Guar Gums, Stamulcol brand Stabilisers and Gum Blends and Sofeze dry premixes for soft serve desserts using Softy machines. Lucid's wide range of Edicol
brand Food Grade Guar Gums are available in viscosities ranging from 10% = 1,250cps to 1% = 7000cps (Brookfield) and in particle sizes from very
coarse to very fine. Lucid has recently introduced its new product range of Food Grade Guar Gums - Edicol DPG Series which are extremely low viscosity Guar Gums. The DPG products are designed for use in foods and beverages where high solids / low viscosity systems are required. Water solutions of the DPG series products give long honey-like flow when used in sufficient concentrations.
Lucid's forte is customised products. We ship more than 70 different grades to over 35 countries. Lucid is involved in research right from the farm level to application studies. We have our own 40 acre Research Farm and an extensive R&D and Innovation Department with labs and Pilot plants.
Lucid has 3 manufacturing plants
in India located at Jodhpur, Meglasiya, and Jhagadia. It
has its Corporate Head Office in Mumbai and two overseas subsidiaries in Houston (USA) and Amsterdam (Netherlands). Lucid has about 350 employees.
Luicd ships about 80% of its products to 35 overseas conuntries.
Lucid supports over 35,000 farming families in India spread over about 150,000 acres.
