We offer a range of fresh preserved in sea-salt seaweed biomass, tailored to the customer´s needs.The following Atlantic species are produced and processed year-round:
- Atlantic Nori (Porphyra sp.)
- Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus)
- Dulse (Palmaria palmata)
- Ogonori (Gracilaria sp.)
- Sea lettuce (Ulva sp.)
- Velvet fingers (Codium tomentosum)
Origin: cultivation in the land-based open IMTA system of ALGAplus, located at the coastal lagoon of Ria de Aveiro (Natura 2000 site).
Processing: washing with seawater, centrifugation to remove excess
water followed by a mixing process with local hand-harvested marine salt
suitable for organic food products. All our seaweed products are organic certified and deal for clean label formulations.
