Yeast and bacteria fermentation products company Lesaffre Human Care will present Lynside NUTRI ORGANIC, the newest addition to its portfolio of nutritional yeasts, at the upcoming FIE in Paris. The company recently obtained ‘ORGANIC FR-BIO-1’ certification from Ecocert for this product.
Lynside NUTRI is a range of primary-grown inactive dried yeasts (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) known as ‘nutritional yeasts’ and manufactured in Western Europe. These traditional superfoods are an said to be an excellent source of non-animal protein containing essential and non-essential amino acids, perfect for vegan-friendly diets, as well as a reliable source of B vitamins, dietary fibres and minerals (K, P, Zn…) making it, according to Lesaffre, a great nutritional ‘partner’ for a variety of consumer groups such as athletes, the elderly, pregnant women as well as everyone who has the desire to lead a healthy lifestyle.Available both in flake and powder form, Lesaffre claims that Lynside NUTRI ORGANIC can be considered as the new organic superfood, to be directly sprinkled on food or incorporated into functional foods or tablets.
