Not Your Usual Spice Trader – Sustainable Agriculture in Action

16 Oct 2025

For over 30 years, Tripper – ORIGINE has been rooted in Indonesia, ensuring sustainability and traceability in every ingredient.

For over 30 years, Tripper – ORIGINE has been rooted at origin in Indonesia, ensuring that sustainability and traceability are embedded in every ingredient we supply.
With a network of more than 8,800 farmers and our own facilities at source, we guarantee single-origin, clean-label ingredients with full transparency.
We put sustainable sourcing into action through several key initiatives. Since 2016, we have distributed over 437,200 cinnamon seedlings across Sumatra, helping to reduce deforestation and capture carbon. Our agroforestry systems integrate cinnamon with other crops and poultry farming, creating more resilient ecosystems and providing farmers with multiple income sources. Continuous training and monitoring by our field officers ensures the long-term adoption of regenerative practices.
By choosing ORIGINE as your traceable ingredient supplier, you gain not only premium-quality spices but also the assurance of certified organic standards including Rainforest Alliance, UEBT, and FSSC22000. ORIGINE is your trusted partner for clean-label innovation in food and beverage applications.

All products are ready to ship from our Belgium warehouse.

ORIGINE - Tripper headquarters — where craftsmanship meets the roots of nature.

This image captures the exterior of ORIGINE - Tripper main building, framed by lush tropical vegetation and vibrant bougainvillea climbing across textured concrete walls. The bold TRIPPER sign stands prominently above the engraved “Origine – Personally Foraged – Est. 1992” mark, symbolizing authenticity, heritage, and dedication to natural sourcing. Flanked by elegant palm trees and bathed in sunlight under a clear blue sky, the scene reflects Tripper’s deep connection to nature and its artisanal ethos. The architecture blends raw materials and organic growth, embodying the brand’s philosophy of sustainability, origin, and respect for the environment.
