Oldenburger Maasdam is the classic with the big holes. Its sweet-nutty taste is highly appreciated by cheese connoisseurs be it on bread or on a cheese platter. Oldenburger Maasdam is perfect as garnish on salads or warm dishes. Its ingredients are pasteurised cow´s milk, salt, starter cultures, microbial rennet, stabiliser: calcium chloride (E509), colouring: beta-carotene (E160a). Cheese should be eaten at room temperature to allow its full flavour to unfurl. Therefore it is advisable to remove it from the refrigerator in time.
