What is Pearl Tomato®?
Pearl Tomato® is a proprietary tomato extract powder, uniquely rich in multi-functional colorless carotenoids, sourced from specially selected non-GMO tomato fruit. This ingredient can be used in the food and beauty industry.

About Pearl Tomato®
There are many different carotenoids and all are different colors. The more commonly known carotenoids are Beta Carotene (found in carrots) and Lycopene (found in tomatoes). White tomatoes are without color but still have carotenoids. While colorless, the ingredient does not absorb visible light spectrum, instead, it absorbs at a lower or high wavelength (UV or Infrared).

Carotenoids have been shown to benefit skin health by supporting a clearer complexion while also maintaining the quality of the skin.

Why Use Pearl Tomato®?

Pearl Tomato® carotenoids prevent the pigmentation process in human bodies, while still brightening and lightening skin tone. White tomatoes are known to reduce the melanin (the primary determinant of skin color) in dark spots and freckles. Pearl Tomato® carotenoids have the ability to absorb UV and infrared wavelengths, which makes it an excellent protector against destructive sun rays. It can also be determined that Pearl Tomato™ protects against free-radical damage, thus making it an antioxidant.
