S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione (SAG) is a higher derivative of Glutathione (GSH), which is improved by Acetylation for stability and bioavailability. Glutathione is one of the most important endogenous antioxidants in the human body, but because of its low oral absorption and easy degradation, scientists have developed S-acetyl-glutathione to improve its performance.
