Canadian dairy products company Saputo has acquired the companies forming Woolwich Dairy  for $80 million.

Woolwich, a manufacturer of branded and private label goat cheese for the North American market, generates annual revenues of approximately $70 million. Its operations comprise three manufacturing facilities (in Québec and in Ontario, Canada; and in Wisconsin, USA), as well as a distribution centre (in Ontario, Canada). Its brands include Woolwich Dairy, Chevrai and Wholesome Goat. The business employs approximately 190 people.
