The last decade, consumers have become increasingly aware of the role protein plays in our health. The resulting demand for high protein foods is unprecedented. More specifically, the desire for organic, clean label, ”free-from”, nutritious and environmentally friendly plant-based protein is growing rapidly.

SipaPro-Oat: The First Organic Oat Protein

SipaPro-Oat is a unique organic, clean-label oat protein concentrate made from non-GMO Oats. SipaPro-Oat has a protein content of minimum 55%, a water holding capacity of 2,48 and a PDCAAS (Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score) of 0,59. SipaPro-Oat is a fine, light-brown powder. It has a light oat taste, which is an advantage compared to other, often intense flavoured, plant-based proteins.

SipaPro-Oat is a perfect protein addition that can be used in a multitude of different applications ranging from sports nutrition and protein bars to bakery.

SipaPro-Oat contains high amounts of L-glutamine. L-glutamine plays a role in protein synthesis, immune protection, maintaining the integrity of the intestinal wall and the body's acid-base balance. It is also used in the production of endogenous glucosamine which is essential in the repair of cartilages and tendons.
