Alesco produces and distributes raw materials for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetics and food industries.
In addition to holding exclusive licences for the distribution in Italy of functional ingredients produced by some of the world’s major innovative companies, since 2010 Alesco has been developing and producing a range of proprietary formulations based on Sucrosomial® Technology, a patented delivery system, which is an authentic innovation in the integration of minerals and nutrients.
As manufacturers and suppliers of certified raw materials for the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and food sectors, we have the duty and responsibility to supply safe, effective and high-quality products. For this reason, although a small company, we strive to make a difference in this sector, supplying only functional ingredients with unique and innovative properties under exclusive licence at national level.
Our history
Alesco S.r.l. was established in 2000 in Pisa, aiming to stand out on the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and food market for the high scientific value of the raw materials distributed. Initially the company focused on the distribution of third-party active ingredients, but very soon, thanks to continuous investments in Research & Development, Alesco began to produce proprietary functional ingredients.
In particular, the core business of Alesco focused on the study of micro-elements and macro-elements, an in 2010 it developed Sucrosomial® Technology, a unique, innovative delivery system that in less than a decade has revolutionised the martial therapies and mineral-based supplements sector. In 2016 the iron-based compound called Sideral® r.m. (Sucrosomial® Iron) was voted “Readers Ingredient of the Year” by the famous and authoritative journal Nutraingredients.com.
From then on, Alesco has never stopped, and continues to work to improve its own formulations and apply Sucrosomial® Technology not only to iron but also to many other minerals, including magnesium, calcium, iodine, zinc and selenium. On top of these micronutrients and macro-elements, over the years a wide variety of formulations and ingredients, considered to be among the most effective and innovative on the market, have been added.
Today, like 20 years ago, Alesco continues to produce and distribute unique and exclusive active ingredients around the world, with the same enthusiasm, passion and professionalism that has always distinguished the company.
