Cahaya Cemerlang with brand name CC Carrageenan is an Indonesian based manufacturer of Kappa and Iota ATC (Alkali Treated Chips), semi-refined as well as refined carageenan. Founded in 1969, Cahaya Cemerlang started exporting various kinds of sea products and eventually developed and moved into production of Semi Refined Carrageenan (SRC) and Refined Carrageenan (RC). Only the best Kappa and Iota carageenan derived from Euchema Cottoni & Euchema Spinosum seaweeds are processed during a full 24 hr circle manufacturing plant with 3 shifts running.
With production facilities located near the source of the raw material combined with the extensive knowledge and long experience in manufacturing, CC Carrageenan guarantees a reliable supply of quality products at competitive prices. We are located in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia - the main hub for seaweed supply in East and Central Indonesia thus we are able to guarantee stable supply of raw material and the quality can be controlled on site to secure only best material used in the production.
