Gelymar is a world leader producer of seaweed hydrocolloids and refined carrageenan and the only company to produces all types of carrageenan (Kappa I, Kappa II, Lambda and Iota) by all extraction methods (Alcohol, Gel Press Heterogeneous and Semirefined) from fresh seaweed in its three production sites located close to the seaweed harvesting areas. The company manufactures natural textural solution to the highest industrial standards, becoming a key player in the global hydrocolloids market.
Gelymar provides the more functional, safest, highest-quality and most cost-effective texture solutions, while ensuring the protection and conservation of the environment. Gelymar operate 3 manufacturing sites in Chile and one in Indonesia, two technology centres and a worldwide distribution network in more than 65 countries.
