1-(1-Adamantylcarbonyl) proline CAS No.: 35084-48-1 98.0% min. For Nootropic

Product description

1-(1-Adamantylcarbonyl) proline is a phenylalanine derivative, also known as adamantylproline or Ad-Pro. Mainly used as catalyst or chiral resolution reagent in organic synthesis. Studies have shown that 1-(1-Adamantylcarbonyl) proline can catalyze asymmetric nucleophilic addition reactions, such as the reaction of aldehydes and alkylene azides, the reaction of aldehydes and sulfuryl folate, the reaction of aldehydes and nitro Methane reactions, etc. Among these reactions, this catalyst has the strongest addition activity toward alkylene azides.  1-(1-Adamantylcarbonyl) proline can also catalyze asymmetric amination reactions.  1-(1-Adamantylcarbonyl) proline can also be used as a chiral catalyst to catalyze asymmetric alcoholization. For example, it can react alcohols with aldehydes or ketones to yield the corresponding aldol or hydroxyketone products. 1-(1-Adamantylcarbonyl) proline, as a chiral organic compound, has excellent catalytic activity.
