About us

BiOkuris is dedicated to designing and manufacturing innovative solutions to protect and enhance the health of current and future generations. Founded in June 2021 as a spin-out from KitoZyme, it builds on three years of research into microbiome modulation and its health benefits. The company combines expertise in gastrointestinal health and health-targeted ingredient development. BiOkuris focuses on functional bowel disorders (IBS), IBS-like symptoms in IBD, and candidiasis, using multi-target therapies based on chitosan and chitin-glucan. It develops dietary supplements, medical devices, FSMPs, and partners with companies (private label) to meet unmet medical needs.
