About us

Mutlucan Tuz A.Ş., one of Türkiye's largest and the world's leading salt producers with its modern production methods, operates in Lake Tuz in the Şereflikoçhisar district of Ankara. Lake Tuz, with its rich mineral structure and high salinity, is one of the world's most important natural regions, included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and located within a Special Environmental Protection Area. Mutlucan Tuz, with 155 employees at its facilities in Lake Tuz, produces a wide range of products from industrial salt to food salt, and focuses on innovative products beyond natural raw salt through its R&D facilities. Our facilities produce an average of 1.5 million tons of raw salt annually using the solar evaporation method, and our processing plants deliver an average of 300,000 tons of processed salt to the market each year. Reports from international analysis laboratories prove that our products are among the highest quality salts in the world. Mutlucan Tuz meets a quarter of Türkiye's salt needs and exports salt from Türkiye to more than 20 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Our main export markets are Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Switzerland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Israel, and Morocco.
