Verrano is a German food innovation company rethinking the potential of root vegetables. At the heart of our technology is a unique maturation process that transforms organic beetroot, celeriac and swede into entirely new food ingredients. By controlling the maturation of the vegetables, we create complex savoury and umami flavours, firm textures and new culinary functionalities – while keeping the ingredient list short.

Our technology unlocks applications far beyond conventional vegetables: from sliced products for sandwiches, foodservice and gastronomy to plant-based and hybrid concepts, fillings, pastes and new product development.
