Company description
Agroproduct is the leading company in Kosovo for collection, cultivation, processing and production of medicinal and aromatic plants, forest fruits and mushrooms. The company has started the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants for the first time ever in Kosovo in 2002 and has become today Kosovo’s leader in this field with 28 cultivated species and 85 collected species with organic certification for both collected and cultivated. Agroproduct is the only exporter to the European market from Kosovo to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czech Republic. Over all, nearly 95 percent of the products sold abroad, namely in the EU market. Organic certification for both collected and cultivated products was obtained from the Swiss organic certification body BioINSPECTA from 2009-2011 and since 2012 from the Albanian organic certification body Albinspekt.
