AMANDUS KAHL
AMANDUS KAHL is a mechanical engineering company based in Reinbek, northern Germany. It is the leading sister company in the KAHL Group. For almost 150 years, the company has grown to become one of the most successful manufacturers of pellet mills worldwide, with around 500 employees. AMANDUS KAHL specializes in manufacturing pellet mills, pan grinder mills, crushing roller mills, expanders, extruders, dryers, and coolers. These plants are primarily used in the food, feed, and biomass industries, as well as for processing by-products and recyclable materials. The chemical and pharmaceutical industries are also among our customers.
The company also focuses on developing and manufacturing fluidized-bed plants that change the material properties of powdery and liquid substances through drying, cooling, agglomeration, instantizing, spray granulation, encapsulation, and coating, improving solubility and achieving dust reduction where required. Typical applications include vitamins, enzymes, beverage powders, probiotics, flavors, nutraceuticals, and botanical extracts, resulting in granules, agglomerates, and coated or micro-encapsulated particles with enhanced application properties.

DEVEX
Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, based in Warendorf, is part of the KAHL Group and a
leading plant manufacturer for thermal process engineering. The company
develops and manufactures extraction, evaporation, and drying plants, primarily
for the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Customers can test and
optimize processes in the company's own test center. The subsidiary DEVEX
Anlagenbau GmbH complements the portfolio with assembly, pipework construction,
service, and maintenance.
PRUESS
Pruess GmbH has
specialized in plant engineering for the food and pharmaceutical industries for
more than 40 years. As part of the KAHL Group, the company implements
customized solutions for extraction, evaporation, cleaning, and thermal
processes worldwide. The portfolio includes extraction plants, CIP/SIP systems,
solution preparation technology, and tank farm solutions. With modern engineering – including AR/VR –
Pruess ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective processing of sensitive
products.
SCHULE
F. H. SCHULE
Mühlenbau GmbH is a long-established German company with over 130 years of
experience in rice and grain processing technology. As part of the KAHL Group,
SCHULE manufactures table separators, impact hullers, drum groat cutters, and
Verticone machines for hulling, separating, sorting, hydrothermal treatment,
and crushing. SCHULE supplies turnkey
rice mills and oat processing plants as well as machines for pulses, oilseeds,
parboiled products, and bulgur.

KAHL Group at FI Europe: Process engineering for powders, granules, extracts, and other food ingredients
From December 2 to 4, the KAHL Group will exhibit its bundled
process technology for the food industry at Food Ingredients Europe (FI Europe)
in Paris. At stand 40A124, Amandus Kahl, Devex, Pruess, and Schule Mühlenbau
will showcase efficient process solutions that combine quality and resource
efficiency in food production.
