Company description
As one of the few teams in China who began exploration in microalgae decades ago, ATK Biotech is founded in 2007.
Until now, ATK Biotech has succeeded in developing algal oil from Schizochytrium sp, and ARA oil from Mortierella alpina, which are for human consumption, and algae meal (Schizochytrium sp powder) for animal feeding.
In 2007, ATK Biotech (formerly known as Jiangsu Tiankai) was founded in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, which was certified with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, Halal and Kosher etc.
In 2019, a brand-new plant broke ground in Chuzhou city, Anhui province, whole plan is designed with three phases (I, II and III).
In 2021, as part of phase I, algal oil, ARA oil and their powder production line is completed, and taken into operation.
In Dec 2021, ATK Biotech won found from China Ministry of Science and Technology, which would strongly facilitate ATK Biotech’s product research and development. In Feb 2022, ATK Biotech passed US GRAS certification for algal oil.
