Barentz International has established a Joint Venture with Vita, an ingredients distributor in Thailand, to further strengthen its activities within the food ingredients segment in Southeast Asia.

Barentz International has established a Joint Venture with Vita, an ingredients distributor in Thailand, to further strengthen its activities within the food ingredients segment in Southeast Asia. Vita's knowledge of the Thai market and its well-established customer network will be an asset for Barentz, the company said, while Vita's product portfolio will be greatly widened with Barentz' product range and production facilities in the region.

While Vita is part of the VIV Group, a distributor of a wide range of ingredients, the Joint Venture, Vita Barentz, will mainly be active within Thailand's fast-growing food sector, especially focussing on health and nutrition Ingredients.
