With over 180 years of experience BCFoods Europe B.V. (former P. Visser & Zoon B.V.) is a well known Dutch importer and wholesaler of spices, seeds, herbs and dehydrated vegetables.
Spices run through our veins. As our Dutch ancestors once were worldwide distributors of spices and seeds, we are honored to maintain their business. Thanks to our years of experience in this field, we know where to get the best crops at the right price.
Our roots are in the small town of Medemblik, once a prosperous trading town at the coast of the IJsselmeer, formerly known as the Zuiderzee. Over 180 years after mr. P. Visser founded the company, we are still very close to our roots as our office is now based in the city of Purmerend, just 20 minutes north of Amsterdam. It is from here where we maintain and develop our international network on a daily basis.
Experience and great interest in trading spices is what brought us this far. Our dynamic team consists of experienced customer driven professionals who ensure the continuous supply of great quality products at competitive prices.
We are proud of our extensive global supplier network which we have built up over the years. As our customer you benefit from our network as we source directly in origin and keep a close eye on price fluctuations, depending on crop results worldwide.
Sustainability is a great good in our business. We comply with the EU-Food Safety and we continuously strive to enhance sustainability in our supply chain. We work closely with social organizations, authorities and local communities to stimulate and help develop a social responsible economy.
