Water softening devices are devices made of ion exchange resin to obtain softer water. Ion exchange resins replace the hardening elements of water with sodium ions. Once the resins are saturated with calcium and magnesium ions, they become inactive.It is treated with sodium chloride solution to reactivate the ion exchange resin. This solution is obtained by dissolving Estuz water softening salts. Here the exchange process is reversed and the ion exchange resin is recharged with sodium ions.

This process is known as regeneration. Estuz water softening salts have a purity rate of 99.5% - 99.9% and EN 973 certification.
