BPO-50S (50% Borage Oil Powder) is a white, free-flowing powder produced via advanced encapsulation and spray-drying It uses refined borage oil as the core active ingredient, encapsulated with modified starch. The product delivers a high level of n-6 gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), with a typical 18% GLA content, which significantly higher than that of conventional evening primrose oil. As an essential omega-6 unsaturated fatty acid, GLA supports lipid-related nutritional functions and daily dietary supplements needs. The encapsulation process effectively enhances the oxidative stability and water dispersibility of borage oil, overcoming the oxidation instability of raw oil, and greatly improves product processability. This product is widely used in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, and functional food formulations.
